The Road Safety and Transport Authority hereby notifies the launch of mRSTA mobile app. The app has been developed to enable production of requisite documents such as Driving License (DL), Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC), Road Worthiness Certificate (RWC) and other relevant documents in electronic form for convenience. The Road Safety and Transport Act and Regulations require all motor vehicles in the country to undergo test of emission levels at least once a year. The conduct of Emission Testing had been outsourced to private firms since 2006 to two private firms. The Authority is planning to establish well equipped Motor Vehicle Fitness and Emission Testing Centre in the long run. Meanwhile, the emission testing would be outsourced to private firms.

The Road Safety & Transport Authority has recently completed the new bus terminal cum office building in Bajo, Wangduephodrang, which caters to the local community and nearby Hydroproject establishments. As the location of the bus terminal is in Bajo town premises, the need for restaurant within the terminal building may not be as strong as those places where shops and restaurants are not available nearby.
The Road Safety & Transport Authority (RSTA) has recently completed the new bus terminal cum office building in Bajo, Wangdue. The building has a designated luggage room measuring 15.53 sq.m. of space which the Authority wishes to invite tender from private individual for its operation.
