The Road Safety and Transport Authority (RSTA), Tashigang has introduced eTest (Online Written Test) for driving test from 25th August, 2018. The objective is to reduce use of paper, increase work efficiency and reduce turn around time in issuance of driving license. It is also aimed to curb the existence of favoritism and nepotism culture as speculated by general public in issuance of driving license.

In total 26 candidates were registered online for the test, 21 were fresh Learner License holders of which 07 candidates underwent eTest, 06 candidates were passed and 1 candidate failed to secure the required pass marks.
