The Road Safety and Transport Authority (RSTA), Bumthang has introduced eTest (Online Written Test) for driving test from 07th August, 2018. The objective is to reduce use of paper, increase work efficiency and reduce turn around time in issuance of driving license. It is also aimed to curb the existence of favoritism and nepotism culture as speculated by general public in issuance of driving license.

In total 40 candidates were registered online for the test, 28 were fresh Learner License holders of which 13 candidates underwent eTest, all 13 candidates were passed.
