This is to notify all concerned and the public that the RSTA has updated the Passenger Bus and Taxi Fares taking into account the reduction in distance between Thimphu and Phuentsholing with the opening of the Damchu-Chhukha bypass.

The updated fares had been implemented w.e.f July 25, 2018. The fares have been uploaded on the RSTA website (wyw.rsta.gov.bt ) under downloads and public transport menus and also shared via the facebook and twitter accounts of the Authority. Further as required, the Authority is currently carrying out the six monthly assessments of the operating and other costs for revision of the entire fare for passenger bus and taxi.
