The Road Safety and Transport Authority (RSTA), Wangdiphodrang has introduced eTest (Online written test) for driving test from 12th July, 2018. The objective is to reduce use of paper, increase work efficiency and reduce turn around time in issuance of driving license. It is also aimed to curb the existence of favoritism and nepotism culture as speculated by general public in issuance of driving license.

In total 46 candidates were registered online for the test, 27 were fresh Learner License holders of which 15 candidates underwent eTest, 14 candidates passed and 1 candidate failed to secure the required pass marks.
