Handing over of Traffic Safety Equipment to Royal Bhutan Police Print

RSTA handed over traffic safety equipments worth Nu. 0.7 million to the Royal Bhutan Police yesterday as a support to strengthen the professional capacity of the traffic police personnel while executing their work.
The Director General of RSTA acknowledged the relentless hard work put in by the traffic police in ensuring the safety and security of the motorists and other road users. He also conveyed the firm commitment and support of the Secretary of Ministry of Information & Communication (MoIC) towards strengthening the capacity of RBP traffic personnel in the field.
The equipments includes breath analyzer with inbuilt printer, quick alcohol testing machine, speed gun and other accessories. The Chief of Police thanked RSTA and assured that the work of the traffic personnel in the field will be made much easier with the use of the equipments. The Chief also expressed his gratitude to the Secretary, MoIC for the esteemed support.
