World Remembrance Day for Road Traffic Victims Observed Print
"World Remembrance Day for Road Traffic Victims" was observed yesterday, on 21st of November 2016. Hon'ble Lyonpo, MoIC presided the day by lighting 1000 butter lamps in memory of people lost in the road traffic accidents. At Thangthong Dewachen Nunnery, Zilukha. The World Remembrance Day is observed every year on the third Sunday of November each year. It is a major advocacy day for Road Traffic Injury prevention.
The RSTA would like to urge all road users to practice and promote safe driving practices and help prevent injuries and fatalities due to road crashes. Lets all join hands and together minimize road crashes, fatalities and injuries.
