The Bhutan Construction and Transport Authority (BCTA) is pleased to inform the general public that the One-Time Mass Vehicle Ownership Transfer Facilitation Initiative has been extended until 31st July 2026.
This extension has been granted to provide additional time for vehicle owners to complete ownership transfers, particularly in light of the recent eRaLIS–BIRMS system integration and the resulting service disruptions.

⚠️ **Please Note:
This is the final extension. From 1st August 2026, all vehicle ownership transfers will strictly follow the regular procedures prescribed under the Road Safety and Transport Regulations.
- No further extensions will be granted.
Vehicle owners who have not yet transferred ownership are strongly encouraged to avail themselves of this final opportunity by visiting the nearest BCTA Regional or Base Office before 31st July 2026.
