The Bhutan Construction and Transport Authority (BCTA) hereby notifies the general public that the Road Safety and Transport Rules and Regulation (RSTRR) 2026 shall come into force with effect from 1 July 2026. Accordingly, all enforcement actions shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation. All road users, vehicle owners, and transport operators are required to comply with the provisions of the RSTRR 2026.
The BCTA solicits the full cooperation of the public for the successful implementation of the Regulation and to promote road safety as a shared responsibility. Road Safety and Transport Rules and Regulation 2026 is available in the BCTA official website at www.bcta.gov.bt
