In
keeping with the Road Safety & Transport Regulations, the Road Safety &
Transport Authority has assessed and reviewed the fuel and operational cost for
operation of passenger buses and taxis. Accordingly, the revised fare for buses
and taxi, for both intra-district and inter-district travel, is published and
can be accessed at the Authority\’s website www.rsta.gov.bt.
Therefore,
all passenger bus and taxi operators are requested to comply with the published
fare and refrain from charging fare beyond the approved rate. Any commuter who
has been charged excess fare may report the issue to the nearest RSTA office or
Traffic Police with details of vehicle, journey date and time.
