The BCTA would like to notify all Engineers, Architects, and Survey Engineers that the registration system currently administered by BCTA will be discontinued with effect from October 1, 2026. Thereafter, registration for Engineers, Architects, and Survey Engineers will be administered by the EPC, BQPCA.
In preparation for the transition and the accompanying data migration, all concerned are kindly requested to take note of the following important information:
1. Engineers, Architects, and Survey Engineers currently registered with BCTA will have their existing records migrated to the EPC system, and their current registration validity will remain unchanged. However, may be required to update certain information; in accordance with a requirement of the EPC.
2. All are requested to complete their pending processes within the above timeline.
3. The EPC registration system is scheduled to open on 13th October 2026, following a 12-day data migration period.
4. The registration of individuals under specialized trades and surveyors will continue to be administered through the BCTA system.
